In line with its Inclusion & Diversity commitment and “our steadfast ambition to be the most inclusive and diverse employer in the information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) industry in the Philippines”, Accenture in the Philippines expanded its LGBTQIA support by introducing new health benefits for its transgender employees.

The benefits include reimbursement for various surgical and non-surgical interventions for employees diagnosed with “gender dysphoria”.

“We recognize the need to support the holistic well-being of our transgender community so that they can be their best true selves at work. Having this benefit brings even more value to our continuing and intensified programs to accelerate equality for all. Through these practices, we empower our people and give them the space to be seen, heard, and succeed,” said Ira Reyes, Country Human Resources Managing Director, Accenture in the Philippines.
