Giving praise and reprimand… ALOUD

After encountering a celebrity (who shall remain unnamed) who wanted to stay “neutral” when discussing LGBT human rights, Michael David C. Tan says: “I know we will always have people who would rather be ‘neutral’. I know that is their call. But that doesn’t lessen the sting, I suppose, of that ‘neutrality’ – because, truth be told, if you really, REALLY want to be remembered for anything, it might as well be for effecting changes in people’s lives.” Credit also goes to those who publicly speak of their LGBT support, even when they encounter criticism for doing so.
