The Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) announced that it will host the biggest national convention for marketing and business students in the Philippines via “MADWORLD: Bravery Over Adversity”.

The Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) announced that it will host the biggest national convention for marketing and business students in the Philippines via “MADWORLD: Bravery Over Adversity”, slated on May 21-22 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM via EventsHub.

MADWORLD – a play on Marketing and ADvertising World – will be held in partnership with integrated communications, media and creative agency Havas Media Ortega Group.

MADWORLD was held as a virtual event in 2021 through the events platform Balloon. Themed “Unlocking the new consumer experience”, it was guested by such celebrities as Alex Gonzaga, Megan Young, Mikael Daez, Mayonnaise, and I Belong to the Zoo.

In a statement, the organizers stated that this year’s gathering eyes to “level up” the holding of events online through the use of a 3D platform, Eventshub, particularly as the world transitions to a new phase of the marketing industry in the new normal.

“MADWORLD: Bravery Over Adversity will open the truth in determining how the marketing industry will defy adversities, and understanding how the businesses take bravery in embracing flexible approaches to digitalization,” PJMA stated. “This event aims to recognize the significance of the shift in creating advanced contents and social responsibility for business transformation as the country’s future innovators.”

Aside from a webinar, for this year’s event, the PJMA will also conduct workshops on advertising, public relations, content marketing, and conversational marketing. There will also be speakers in brand management, social media marketing, and sustainable marketing. Games, job fair, meet and greet, and sponsor booths will also be available at MADWORLD 2022, which is expected to attract thousands of business students, junior marketers, industry professionals, and alumni.
