UPLB Babaylan’s BEERNAKED slated on August 28

BEERNAKED, which was started in 2009, highlights the struggles of the LGBT community and celebrates every triumph against homophobia and discrimination achieved through collective effort. BEERNAKED V is scheduled on August 28 at Java Avenue, 4030 Los Baños, Laguna.

BeerNakedUPLB Babaylan, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organization of the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna has launched BEERNAKED V.

BEERNAKED began in 2009 and has since then been organized annually as one of the most anticipated parties in UPLB. KISS, F.U.C.K., and Rainbow Orgasm are the previous installments to the Beernaked franchise, which put to light the struggles of the LGBT community and celebrates every triumph against homophobia and discrimination achieved through collective effort.

For its fifth year, UPLB Babaylan’s BEERNAKED calls on LGBTs and allies to “Dominate Your Struggles, Stand Up And Fight.”

Beernaked V: DOMINATION is in partnership with Jose Cuervo Philippines and is sponsored by Wacoal, Metro Hair Salon, Red Pill Productions, Wheninmanila.com and Outrage Magazine, the only LGBT publication in the Philippines.

The fifth incarnation of BEERNAKED is scheduled on August 28, 2014 at Java Avenue, 4030 Los Baños, Laguna.

Tickets are sold at PhP200, inclusive of two beers and unlimited rainbow mix drinks.

Beats will be provided by special guests: Jose Cuervo’s DJ Lucio Pua, Ace Ramos, and Hype Man of the Year (2013) Paolo Avila.
