In the last quarter of 2013, Filipinos living with HIV already noted the limited amount of antiretroviral medicine (ARV) supplies provided them, with key people from treatment hubs claiming this move to be a necessity considering the delay in the procurement of ARVs by the Department of Health (DOH). And while the government body claims that there is in fact no shortage in the stocks of the life-saving medicines, PLHIV couldn’t help but continue to worry anyway.
