In Batangas, Wagayway Equality Inc. launched Espasyo, a community center eyeing to promote gender equality, HIV and mental health awareness, and the rights of youth, LGBTQIA individuals, PLHIV, and other key populations particularly in the province.

Espasyo by Wagayway Equality, situated in the heart of Batangas, stresses “the power of collaboration and inclusivity,” said Aivan Alvarez, executive director of Wagayway Equality Inc. “Espasyo represents the collective efforts of duty bearers, civil society organizations, and the community in championing equality and justice for all, providing an enabling community where individuals are free from any form of discrimination and have access to essential health and rights services.”
