Quezon City to hold commitment ceremony for LGBTQIA couples

The local government unit (LGU) of Quezon City has announced that it will hold a commitment ceremony for LGBTQIA people in relationships. The actual date when this will be done has yet to be announced, but the LGU is now inviting those who want to join to already register.

Because your national politicians still do not believe that the right to love is for everyone, so the local government unit (LGU) of Quezon City has announced that it will hold a commitment ceremony for LGBTQIA people in relationships. The actual date when this will be done has yet to be announced, but the LGU is now inviting those who want to join to already register.

  • “Love always wins in QC,” a post in the LGU’s official Facebook account stated, as it also enumerated the requirements for registration, namely:
  • Completed application form
  • QCitizen ID
  • Must be 18 years old and above
  • Must name one witness

The deadline for the registration and submission of requirements is on February 5.

Those interested may coordinate with the QC Gender and Development Council Office at 8988-4242 loc. 8732 and 8739; or Jhelai Pasco at 09167783461.
