Emphasizing its support for Pride, broadband and technology provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. joined – for the third year – the annual #LoveLaban Pride parade in Qezon City.
“True belonging means creating a workplace where individuality is embraced, valued, and empowered. It also makes bringing their authentic selves to work a joyful experience – every single day. The energy and engagement we saw… prove that when we champion diversity, we strengthen the fabric of our entire company,” said Converge SVP and Head of People and Culture Mylene Sardinia. “Let us continue to take pride in who we are, what we do and where we aspire to be.”
But the company stated that it goes beyond Pride participation in championing diversity and inclusivity within its workplaces. For instance, Converge held a SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) information webinar for its Pasig and Pampanga-based employees, geared towards raising and enforcing gender awareness and equality in the workplace. Converge also organized Pride-themed bazaars at its Pasig and Pampanga offices, bringing together concessionaires from food and beverage, mental wellness, and self-expression brands to create spaces for celebration and community building. Similarly, the company unveiled the company’s Rainbow Lane at the entrance of its office facilities, said to be a “visible and lasting reminder of the commitment of Converge to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong”.
“At Converge, our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is rooted in our belief that innovation thrives when people feel seen, heard, and valued. Through initiatives like our Pride celebration, we continue to build a culture where everyone can succeed as their authentic selves,” said Converge AVP and head of corporate communications and employer branding Princess Gresola.
“As Converge continues to expand its national digital infrastructure footprint, the company remains committed to building teams where diverse experiences, perspectives, and identities fuel innovation and growth for the digital future of the country,” concluded Converge VP and head of corporate communications and public relations Jay-Anne Encarnado.
