Former Vice President – and now NGO Angat Buhay chairperson – Atty. Leni Robredo released a statement highlighting her support for the LGBTQIA community, saying that the struggle for a more loving society continues.
“Patuloy ang pakikipaglaban para sa mas maganda, mas bukas, at mapagmahal na lipunan,” Robredo stated.
Robredo added that the march to equality will eventually succeed.
“Tiwala ako na sama-sama tayong magmamartsa tungo sa tagumpay, sa araw kung kailan masisilayan natin ang isang Pilipinas na mas matingkad ang pag-ibig at niyayakap ang bawat isa,” she added.
