Entitled “Pride in Careers: Building Inclusive Futures Together”, the joint campaign led by Jobstreet by SEEK and PLCC seeks to expand awareness and highlight inclusive businesses. PLCC is a pioneering organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of the LGBTQ+ in the Philippines.

As part of efforts to promote inclusive and diverse workplaces, the online career and employment platform, Jobstreet by SEEK, seals a partnership with the Philippine LGBT Chamber of Commerce (PLCC).

Under this campaign, members of PLCC can take advantage of several key benefits to achieve better career and talent matching. These include discounted Job Ads for industries like Health, IT-BPO, Tourism, and more. Hirers can also maximize free job postings through Lite Ads as well as a custom link that features job opportunities exclusively from PLCC member companies. Moreover, Jobstreet by SEEK will offer free onboarding training and industry reports to associated hirers.

This initiative also serves as a way to commemorate the Pride Month, encouraging a more welcoming environment for all job seekers regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, attracting a more diverse talent pool.

Additionally, the campaign tries to raise awareness that inclusive workplaces carry long-term benefits including higher employee satisfaction, retention rates, and overall productivity. According to a report by Jobstreet by SEEK, jobseekers tend to select their place of work based on values, political stance, and social impact of an organization. This underscores the need for hirers to implement healthy practices for their workforce to continue attracting and retaining talents from every generation.

“Jobstreet by SEEK’s unique position in the employment market comes with the responsibility to champion inclusivity in the workplace. By creating equal opportunities for everyone and diversifying the talent pool, we empower hirers to leverage the strengths of individuals, driving more success in the long run,” shares Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director, Philippines, Jobstreet by SEEK.
