‘Pride Run’ scheduled on June 7 in Quezon City

Quezon City will be hosting a fun run come June 7 (from 6:00PM) at Tomas Morato as part of the month-long observance of LGBTQIA+ Pride month.

The local government unit (LGU) of Quezon City announced that, come June 7 (from 6:00PM), it will be hosting a fun run as part of the month-long observance of LGBTQIA+ Pride month. Themed ‘Run with Pride. Run for Pride’, the event will be at Tomas Morato in Quezon City.

In the event’s registration page, the organizers stated that “Pride is a celebration and recognition of the plight of the LGBTQIA+ community. For more than 50 years, members of the queer of community have been fighting for inclusion, equality, and acceptance. Quezon City, for several years now, have been in the forefront of championing the queer community through various programs in the Philippines such as the now-annual QC Pride, and the relevant Right-to-Care Act.”

For 2025, “the QC Run for Pride will further recognize the queer community through a health-oriented initiative filled with joy and jubilance, where all are welcome, regardless of SOGIE.”

There is only one category: 5KM Run, and a ₱500 registration fee, which will cover the giveaway singlet, racer bib, LED wristband, and medal .
