Established in 2023, The Sunny Club PH is a collective for queer women, by queer women, based in Metro Manila. The collective and its events was a response to the lack of dedicated spaces for lesbians and queer women in the Philippines. Sunny aims to provide such spaces, however fleeting, through curated events. Sunny is guided with the purpose to cultivate connection, amplify conversations on the lesbian and queer experience in the Philippines, and share resources for the greater LGBT+ community.
Every attendee can find their own community through various events. Sunny can be found in cafes — holding talks, book clubs, film screenings, and art afternoons — or in the nightlife scene with queer women performers, drag artists, and DJs. The collective is passionate about creating spaces where queer women can exist, love, and collaborate, free from shame or judgment. Sunny is currently the fastest and biggest growing sapphic collective in the country. We pride ourselves on offering diverse events for all ages and supporting queer and lesbian initiatives and artists.
