Working from home has become increasingly popular during 2020 due to the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 and has therefore forced many of us office workers and employees to work from home. What this has given people is extra added time in their day due to not having to commute to work and we have seen a fitness craze due to this with many more people conscious of their fitness levels.

Below we discuss some of the most popular ways to keep fit when working from home.

The most popular and possibly the easiest for many to start has been running with us witnessing a lot more runners on the roads and off-road during the height of the pandemic. This is mainly down to the fact that the start-up costs for this is very minimal with just a pair of trainers required so virtually anyone can get into it. This has been further aided through apps like Strava which have enabled us to track our progress and see how we can further challenge ourselves.

Other activities that have been benefit from many working from home is that of online casino sites, like you can see here. This is because more people at home, more online, and more likely to be distracted and there’s a reason why this is especially with the quality of casino that they have on offer.

Another way of keeping fit during lockdown is weightlifting so if you are able to get your hands on some dumbbells, or kettlebells or even some resistance bands which have become increasingly popular during this time. Weightlifting has always been popular for many to try and chisel the body that they have always wanted and doping this in lockdown is the perfect excuse to get started.

Furthermore, what about starting that something that isn’t just good for your physical fitness but also for the mind and mental health too. Yoga is the perfect activity for this and although yoga has sometimes been an activity for flexible people, now is the time to start if you are wanting to improve how your body moves. Also, with the amount of help you can receive online in terms of guides and videos to show you how to start, now is the time to start Yoga.

And finally, what about getting into a gym club online that has been offering Zoom calls for you to sign up to and be able to work out in your front room but still have a personal trainer shouting at you and giving you instructions to keep you motivated. Joe Wicks has been the pioneer in this industry and there’s proof in the pudding.
