There’s no intention to make this come out as a promotion or whatever, but – if you’re in London and you’re almost out of budget but still want to go to some pub – an option for many is Shakespeare’s Head. Tambayan ng tight-fisted people, including students or new grads or the likes, so… baka bet to add sa options while there.

Una, the branch we’ve visited a handful of times is in Holborn, a few doors away from the Holborn Underground station, and near the London School of Economics (LSE). Accessible siya, yeah.
Ikalawa, yung sistema is makabago… and quite impersonal. Every table has a QR code that will lead you to an ordering page (complete with payment na), so the only time you’d engage with staff members is when they deliver your orders or clean up after departing guests.
Ikatlo, yung place is pub-like, and even a sports bar. Maluwag din since they really accommodate a lot kasi kilala nga. Find your own seating ang drama.
And ika-apat, sa presyo ang labanan here – e.g. three 8” pizzas cost £12; ang fish and chips cost over £9 lang, or £11 if with beer na. And the beer, merong £3.99, while the cocktails, may two pitchers for £17.

I have spoken to people in London who won’t be seen dead in this place; “last choice” daw. Good for them and their malamang pockets, LOL. For the rest though, this is an option, and should be an option if you’re in London and in the Holborn area.
But now we’re off for more LGBTQIA+ rampa…
