Lumina is one of the talents who will headline “Immortals: A Drag Concert”

In a night that aims to honor by celebrating such divas/iconic artists as Madonna, Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Arianna Grande, Jessie J., Taylor Swift and Beyonce, three of the most recognized impersonators of Malate will hold a drag concert on May 23 (from 10:00PM).
Nadja, Lumina and Alanis are set to headline “Immortals: A Drag Concert” at FAB Bar, located along Maria Orosa Street, City of Manila.
For Lumina, the show aims to showcase local talents that highlight why “our local drag performers are of high quality,” she said.
But more than a show that eyes to showcase established talents, it will also “set the standards for FAB’s next project, the ‘Dragettes’, a competition for new, aspiring drag queens by giving them the chance to be known in the circuit.”
“Immortals” will pre-empt “Dragettes: The Search for the Next Drag Princess”, which will start on May 31, and happen every Sunday until the grand finals on June 28. Screenings of would-be participants happen every Wednesday.
“Immortals: A Drag Concert” is supported by Dane Sy, FAB Bar’s owner; and Andrew de Real, owner of the The Library in Malate.
