Trans peeps, demand!

Since many LGBTQIA+ and transgender “leaders” claim to represent these communities, hold them accountable, says Kate Montecarlo Cordova. “Demand. Make noise to make those who receive money actually make moves.”

Gamitin natin itong online trans issues na nagsusulpotan para hingian at pigain ang mga transgender or LGBTQIA+ organizations to present their programs and activities that will benefit the community or the trans masses.

Nag-educate ba kayo sa trans masses about their rights, skill building, and so on?

Kapag sinabi nilang meron, tanungin nyo, sino ininvite nyo? Did you try to somehow help them understand?

Sagot ng almost all: “Wala”.

Eh para saan ang organization nyo? HIV 101 meron, SOGIE 101 wala? Lalo na Trans 101?

Dapat nasa 301 level na tayo.

Tingnan nyo, mukhang mas matalino pa ang dating ng mga walang alam pagdating sa online debates about trans people and trans issues.

Advocacy work is about service, mga kapatid. So demand!

Remember the isyu ni Jude? Who stood for her? May mga trans leaders pa nga na instead of gathering information first, humusga na agad.

Susme! Kya tigilan nyo ako, ha.

Kaya demand. IN THE NAME OF THE COMMUNITY, IN THE NAME OF ADVOCACY.
