Because all #LoveisLove.

The ‘Love in London’ photography competition has concluded, highlighting the best of what London has to offer in the aftermath of a turbulent 2017 with images of love. The winning photos will be displayed on digital advertisements, including billboards, tube and bus stop signs across the capital.

Running for three weeks, the competition invited Londoners to submit photographs in six different categories, including Love in the Community and Love What You Do. The competition was organized by CLiKD, a London Based dating app that gives people a way to meet new people in London.

Acclaimed photographers, such as Kim Leuenberger, Jackie King and Paul Floyd Blake judged the entries with the winning photos set to feature on over 50 separate digital signs across London.

The winning entry was from Scott Hamilton, a part-time teacher originally from Edinburgh but has been living in London since 2005. His entry was called “Snuggles.”

“I love the thought of spreading some happiness and joy across London and I’m really privileged that the judges chose my entry, especially since this photo means a lot to me personally.  I think it gives a great representation of love and comfort, since the shot was taken quite naturally when we were both at home on the couch, it just felt right,” Hamilton said.
