Payoneer, a global payment platform, will mark Pride with an event, entitled “Lead Loud and Proud: Meet LGBTQ+ members leading the Philippine outsourcing industry”, on June 22 at KMC One Ayala. It will be done in partnership with KMC Solutions.

In line with the company’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the outsourcing industry, and providing equal opportunities to all our customers regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation, the event is expected to showcase stories and experiences of LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs in the industry to spark inspiration and establish why representation matters in the workplace.

“We strongly believe in promoting diversity and inclusion and providing equal opportunities for all. We invite everyone to join us at our event to learn from these remarkable leaders and celebrate their successes,” said Monique Avila, Payoneer’s Country Manager.

The speakers will include: Chris Eugenio, Culture, Communications, Engagement, and Capability Manager at BHP, and a Board of Trustees member of PFIP.

Additionally, there will be two-panel discussions that will include experts from the outsourcing sector. The first panelists are LGBTQIA+ leaders of service providers for BPO businesses such as office spaces, benefits aggregators, and cross-border payments. They will talk about their journeys throughout their careers, how they were able to climb the corporate ladder, and what it’s like to lead a workplace as an LGBTQIA+.

This will be followed by the second discussion which will be composed of a panel of BPO entrepreneurs. They will be sharing stories about building their businesses with their life partners. The importance of implementing diversity and inclusion in their companies will also be part of the discourse.

“Payoneer is honored to put a spotlight on the contributions of the  LGBTQIA+ sector in the outsourcing industry. Through this event, we want to provide opportunities that go beyond borders for the boundless growth of all aspiring LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs,” ends Avila.
