UP Manila Pride also includes Rainbow Speaks, a series of educational talks, such as So G for SOGIESC on May 5, Intersectional Feminism & LGBTQIA+ Activism on May 7, Queer Health amidst the Pandemic on May 12, and Queer Storytelling and Representation in Media on May 19.

Aloe Ynion, organizing committee head for externals, said: “The past year has extremely affected all of us, especially those in the marginalized and vulnerable communities, and the UP Manila Pride team, along with its over 50 sponsors, partners, speakers, and performers, brings more color, joy, and awareness this May by preparing programs in line with the theme: One UPM For Human Rights.”

Bahagsari UPM is inviting everyone “with much enthusiasm to Make May Gay this year and promote diversity, inclusivity, and equality as we celebrate UP Manila Pride. We welcome everyone as we fight against systemic oppression because Pride is and will always be a protest,” Ynion added.
