When is Euro 2020?

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship will take place in 12 cities from June 12, 2020, to July 20, 2020. UEFA will introduce the video assistant referee (VAR) in the tournament to make informed decisions. Michael Platini, the former UEFA president stated that several nations will host the tournament. The final and semi-finals will take place at Wembley Stadium, London. It has the largest capacity compared to other hosting stadiums. The opening match will be at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome.

The Bid Process

UEFA held the qualifying draw on December 2, 2018, at Convention Centre Dublin. The football organization will pick 20 teams from the qualifiers.
