UP holds first-ever systemwide Pride

With the theme, “Heal, Rise Unite!”, UP Pride 2021 advocates that we heal through a rights-based and evidence-based pandemic response, rise for equality within and outside the university, and unite to defend human rights and end anti-LGBTQI+ discrimination, harassment, and violence.

This year’s UP Pride makes history as the first-ever system-wide pride celebration. With the theme, “Heal, Rise Unite!”, UP Pride 2021 advocates that we heal through a rights-based and evidence-based pandemic response, rise for equality within and outside the university, and unite to defend human rights and end anti-LGBTQI+ discrimination, harassment, and violence.

All of this year’s events will be held online, most through the official UP Pride Facebook page. With the current status of the pandemic, we strive for everyone’s safety, but we will continue making our voices heard as we fight for equality and human rights.
