Pro-LGBTQ+ laws should be explicit legislative priorities of candidates this 2025, says Bahaghari

LGBTQ+ rights group Bahaghari expressed the need for pro-LGBTQ+ laws including the SOGIESC Equality Bill and marriage equality to be explicit legislative priorities of candidates this 2025.

LGBTQ+ rights group Bahaghari expressed the need for pro-LGBTQ+ laws including the SOGIESC Equality Bill and marriage equality to be explicit legislative priorities of candidates this 2025.

The group’s statement was in response to the LGBTQ+ community’s uproar over opposition bet Heidi Mendoza’s firm NO against same-sex marriage.

As for Mendoza, Salinas shared: “Maraming pulitiko ang mas dapat ipako kesa kay Heidi Mendoza. That is why, despite our differences, we respect Ms. Mendoza’s policy on anti-corruption, and wish her the best in her campaign.

For Bahaghari, the LGBTQ+ community should be unified.

Kailangan tayong manindigan at magsama-sama, LGBTQ+ man o hindi.
