City of Bacoor schedules Pride parade on June 29

Just as the city of Bacoor in Cavite celebrates its 10th Cityhood Anniversary, the local government announced that it is holding its first-ever Pride parade on June 29 along Evangelista Road, from 4:00PM.

Just as the city of Bacoor in Cavite celebrates its 10th Cityhood Anniversary, the local government announced that it is holding its first-ever Pride parade on June 29 along Evangelista Road, from 4:00PM.

Helmed by the local government unit (LGU), the event is said to eye to “give the LGBTQIA community a chance to gather together and fight for their rights while showcasing their innate artistry and creativity.”

Seemingly belying its chosen hashtag, #BacoorPrideMarch2022, the latter (i.e. “showcasing… artistry and creativity”) is the event’s major focus, with two competitions to be held for cosplay and sahara costumes, with winners to earn up to P20,000. Registration for would-be revelers may be done HERE.
