PLANNING

Planning to travel the world is so exciting, but there are many parts to it. The first thing you need to think about is when would you like to go.

Are you going to go when the countries are at their busiest, or are you going to wait for it to die down a little? Well, actually having a list of countries you’d like to visit should be first on your list of things to do. You can then determine what time would be best to visit them. Then you need to think about the visas you might need. A lot of countries now require you to have a visa and they can be a long winded process to sort out. Make sure you look into this before booking anything.

Money is the next big issue for a lot of people. If you’re desperate to up and pack your bags, then a loan is going to be the best route for you. You can usually chose to spread the repayments so you’ll still have time to pay it off when you can back and go into work. You can even get a unsecured personal loan for bad credit. But if you’re worried about the whole stigma behind a personal loan, then you’re going to have to stick it out and wait until you can afford it. If you have a goal such as traveling the world in mind, it shouldn’t take too long. Just make sure you’re restricting yourself in other areas of life so you can save that little bit quicker.

THE TRAVELING

Going solo and traveling the world is so scary. But you’ll have so many great new experiences that you never would have had before. If you’re quiet a reserved person, then you’re going to come out of your shell a little through this.

To keep things cheap you’re most likely going to be staying in a hostel. These are such social places which are going to be perfect for making friends. Just make sure you have your belongings on you at all times in a secured zipped up bag.

The only downside to traveling is you’ll most likely be living out of a large rucksack, so carrying this around can get a tad annoying. Make sure you’re always stocked up with amenities and essentials (say, a waterproof bag that will protect all your stuff) throughout your time traveling.
